Review of Raise the Red Lantern (1991) by Janice K — 29 May 2008
Terrible movie... I thought the plot lacked a great deal. It was unfortunate that the main characters weren't that developed and remained flat throughout the whole film. The acting was amazing but other than that and the beautiful cinematography, I felt like I wasted 2 hours of my life.
