Review of The Gorgon (1964) by Camden N — 23 Jun 2008
It's been a long time since I've seen this, but it left quite an impression on me. I like how both Cushing and Lee were cast against type, and it definitely worked in the film's favor. One review I read compared this film to Vertigo, and even if it isn't quite the masterpiece that film is it does have a similar tragic mood.
For now, I'd say the awful special effects are the only downside, but I'll have to see it again for a proper reassessment.
