Man, I hate to say it but this movie really sucked. The dumbest thing was how the girl narrating said she added music to the movie because she wanted to scare us. Not only did it not work, but it also seemed like a dumb excuse to have music in the movie.
Besides that, the movie never seemed real. It failed where Cloverfield succeeded. It seemed to me that the film had an okay script, but Romero's direction was simply sub-par. The film didn't really pick up until the last half-hour, but even then it seemed to me like the film was simply redundant overall.
I think Romero said all he really needed to with his original zombie trilogy. It's also sad that his two most recent zombie films suck so much compared to the Dawn remake.
