Review of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) by Jake A — 03 Mar 2017
The third and final part of the Man with No Name trilogy is the best of the three thanks to Leone using the experience gained from the previous two to give us a truly epic Western. Though I do have a general problem with the length of the film (as some parts seem unnecessary) at least the rest is used to bring forth character development, some intense and well shot scenes and the best action of the series.
It also looks great (with even better landscapes than before), the score is immense, I like how the three main characters are set up, the plot is solid and the script though serviceable does have some noteworthy lines.
