Whilst it's an incredible achievement that a film such as this has been made in an industry which has seemingly no money left for new ideas, I still found Miranda July's "The Future" a little too heavy on the weirdness for me to truly enjoy.
Despite some touching performances and moments of inspired comical whimsy, I couldn't really join the dots to any kind of plot thread or extract anything that resesembled any clear or cognitive syntax.
