Review of The Funeral (1996) by Davis V — 04 Feb 2008
Started off slow, but the finale was worth waiting for. The performances from the three lead actors (Walken, Penn, Del Toro) were as expected..flawless. The mystery aspect of the film was the best part alternating between the past and the present.
The only real downside was the length, a film like this should have gone in to much more detail and be at least another half-hour longer, but ah well was worth watching nevertheless.
