There are no words. I am speechless. Film Director Sean Baker (II)'s, THE FLORIDA PROJECT is an incredibly potent mixture of childhood innocence and poverty, containing some of the most amazing performances by a group kids I've ever seen, especially the INCREDIBLE performance by the young child Brooklynn Prince as the unforgettable Moonee. Why this amazing film was not included as an Oscar nominee for Best Film of the Year is outrageous. Plus the Oscars have given Oscar nominations and even, actual, Oscars to children for performances that don't come anywhere near the brilliance of Brooklyn Prince's performance. And where was the, much deserved, Oscar nomination for the film's Director, as well?

I'm not going to explain this film, just experience it for yourself.

Fair warning : This film slowly gets under your skin and BREAKS your heart. The ending of THE FLORIDA PROJECT is without a doubt one of the most heart wrenching I've seen in YEARS!
