Review of The Entity (1982) by Richard L — 01 Jan 2011
It is a heavier, harsher, less family-friendly Poltergeist (Hooper 1982). It is not particularly good or well-made, but it is not bad either. The acting performances are strong, but the "real story" claims clash with the special effects and everything really, really feel like trying to surf on the 70's-early 80's parapsychology craze and antipsychiatry zeitgeist.
