Review of The Enforcer (1976) by Johnny S — 01 Jul 2014
This is the third series of Dirty Harry movie and Clint Eastwood is back to character Harry Callahan again after Magnum Force.
Harry gets in trouble again when he stops a holdup at a liquor store in his own way, but he doesn't stay in the doghouse long. He is needed. He is reluctantly teamed with a female cop Kate Moore (Tyne Daly... she also regular starring cop TV series Cagney & Lacey) to track down a group of terrorists called "People's Revolutionary Strike Force" who have robbed a munitions warehouse and launched a terror spree, including kidnapped San Francisco's mayor. Kate Moore seeks not only help to solve the case and take down the bad guys, but to gain Harry's approval.
Solid action, good humor and a good plot make this a lot of fun - but very violent.
