Review of The End of the Affair (1999) by Neil K — 27 Jul 2008
This is a great adaptation of the Graham Greene novel, which I hadn't read before seeing the movie. Fiennes and Moore are excellent in capturing the complexity of their characters (for an American actress Moore's polished English accent and middle class mannerisms are perfectly delivered).
The story about adultery, betrayal and redemption is unravelled through skilled use of flashbacks.
