Review of The East (2013) by Abraham S — 21 Oct 2013
An excellent, profoundly inspirational film. The East was a great watch and it surprised me with its emotional depth. Ellen Page is one of my favorite actors of all time and she was typically good here; Alexander Skarsgard has grown on me even more - he is a pleasure to watch; but Brit Marling nearly stole the show.
She was engrossing, emotional, and consistent. I have not payed special attention to her before but I'll be looking her way from now on. This film is definitely worth a watch for just about anyone with a brain.
