Review of The Dunwich Horror (1970) by Carlos S — 10 Jun 2009
This does not have a lot in common with the original story, the character names and a few plot points and thats about it. It is an enjoyable enough 70's horror film, reminded me a lot of the Hammer films.
H.P. Lovecraft never had filthy hippies in the story, but again, it was the 70's. Stockwell is weird and over the top as always and Sandra Dee was trying to break out of her good girl mold, but overall, the film feels cheap and silly.
