This movie was entertaining up until the last 20 minutes. I know it was based on a book, but I just couldn't make sense of it afterwards. I was left feeling numb and kind of pissed-off. I would have given this movie 5 stars if it wasn't for that twisted ef-u to the audience kind of ending.
"The Dressmaker" is categorized as a Comedy/Drama which seems as confusing as the feelings I experienced after watching the film. Kate Winslet and the rest of the cast were amazing. The movie was visually captivating, but it was that crappy ending that ruined it form me.
