Review of The Double Life of Véronique (1991) by Viviana M — 29 Sep 2007
The fourth Kieslowski movie I've seen. I'm totally used to his way of storytelling now. The beginning may be confusing depending on what you're expecting from a brief synopsis that you've probably read somewhere.
..but, by the end of the movie, the point and purpose and themes are obvious. This is definitely a good way to get into Kieslowski. Fantastic cinematography, too...and precursor to the Three Colors Trilogy.
