Review of The Defiant Ones (1958) by Miranda P — 21 Dec 2008
This movie succeeds by not pushing to hard or obviously on the issues of race. Tony Curtis is good, but Sidney Poitier is amazing. I think it's important to try to remember that this movie was made in 1958, when idea's of total equality where just beginning to be bounced around.
