Review of The Defiant Ones (1958) by Josh T — 02 Oct 2010
There are few films where Sidney Poitier gets acted off the screen by his white co-star. But in this film, Tony Curtis does just that! With his understated performance as a racist convict opposing Poitier, it's the transformation of Curtis into a better person that hits you.
Classic.
