Review of The Deer Hunter (1978) by Rick Q — 10 Feb 2013
A very good film starring Robert De Niro. The cast is brilliant and although the film is very long at over 3 hours, it keeps the momentum going throughout. It shows how life long friends are torn apart by the savages of war.
It also has a side story of a secret love between Michael and Linda.
