Review of The Deer Hunter (1978) by Habibiehakim — 12 Apr 2022

The Deer Hunter is not a war movie, there is a little of war sequence and though the theme is indeed about war, it's more of like a movie about friendship, while you might or at least me did not feel the connection until the war ended, in the end, it's finally work for me till the rest of the movie and the rest is incredible, De Niro and all the cast was fascinating, the message is there, the tension is there, and the friendship is there, The Deer Hunter is still an amazing movie.
