This movie gets 5 stars for the Russian Roulette scene alone. It's the hardest thing I've ever had to watch and I've seen some pretty shocking movies. By far the best performance Christopher Walken ever gave and arguably it's the best of De Niro, too.
It's been called a little racist, but that doesn't make it any less powerful. The war doesn't matter, it's the endurance of the talented actors that makes it so unforgettable. I haven't seen this movie in about two years and my face is still kind of sore.
