Review of The Deer Hunter (1978) by Afonso A — 14 Aug 2018
Finally caught this movie on HBO this past weekend. Missed the first 20 minutes or so but I'm surprised to say that what I saw was nothing short of a cinematic masterpiece-an intense, emotional saga of Human American life in the second half of 20th century.
Not sure I've figured out the meaning of the title yet but I recorded it and am gonna go back and watch the beginning. **No Spoilers Please**.
