This movie is not genius. I just remember seeing the beginning on TV at the age of 10 with Jacqueline Bisset's wet T-shirt scuba diving and that pretty much killing any chance I would ever ever ever ever ever be gay.
It never lives up to that opening but it's still fun. I wasn't bored once. That part of the plot hinges on a giant monster that they never explain and leave on edges of the film and plot makes me love it all the more.
