Review of The Deaths of Ian Stone (2008) by Brendan T — 30 May 2008
A horror movie with some originality for once. It is about a guy named Ian Stone who is killed each day and every time he comes back to life the next day in a different life but with the same name. An old man contacts him and tells him that he must protect a girl and that the harvesters are the ones who have been killing him every day.
It goes on from there, with a sadistic woman harvester chasing him down, constantly torturing him. The acting was good enough to be convincing and the good characters were likable. The third quarter of the movie lost the plot a little with a bit too much sci-fi styled torture and entrapment, but it got better again towards the end.
