A weird and somewhat original horror film, The Deaths of Ian Stone suffers from the fact it so badly wants to be a horror-movie version of The Matrix. Concerning a young man who dies and awakes repeatedly into new realities, the film initially has the potential to be a cerebral piece of horror cinema.

Unfortunately, it devolves into utter stupidity by th end. Interesting throughout and better than some of the After Dark garbage, The Deaths of Ian Stone is not a great film; however, it will keep you intrigued until the end.

Unfortunately, the end will only make you realize that it was never really that good.....
