Review of The Death of Mr. Lazarescu (2005) by Porchee P — 24 Jan 2008
In fact it is not a documentary, it's a mokumentary exposing old wives' tales about the Eastern European medical system. It was well reviewed because the easteners believed it to be so and westerners were happy to see that things are a lot worse than at home.
The movie doesn't have good acting or directing, at least not compared with other Romanian films.
