Review of The Dead Zone (1983) by Mathew P — 04 Jul 2009
I've only just seen this film in 2009 and never knew it existed until this time in July. I always knew that Christopher Walken was a great treasure to the film industry when he played a villain but "The Dead Zone" has Walken playing a good guy who overcomes tragedy (after a four year period) to be given a gift of seeing into the past and also the future (and then being able to change the occurances of certain critical future events in peoples' lives.
You can really tell that this story has been written by the "horror master" himself- Stephen King by the whole feel of the film. I would strongle recommend anyone who enjoys a good Stephen King experience to watch this film or read the book!
