I really liked the movie. It was exciting. As a teenager, I was always interested when watching the movie. Yes, it had its awkwardness that makes you want to cringe but ?doesn't all movies that are focused on young love have that.

You can't have it both ways. Not just in young love movies heck in every romantic movie I have ever seen there are moments where I want to cringe. Now I never read the book, but I still understood what was happening in the movie.

One thing I don't like about websites like these is that if you look at what the critics say about it and the audience you'll notice a huge difference. This movie is focused towards young adults and teenagers.

So I'm sorry if I don't take reviews from critics who are like forty-something. The movie isn't really trying to appeal to you.
