This was so not what I expected. I was thinking Hitchcock style murder/suspense type stuff, but this was just all over the place with bad acting and bad direction. There was no reason to kill the husband or to root for the main characters.
I think Lana Turner is beautiful, but there was no chemistry with John Garfield. Very, very disappointed in this one.
