Review of The Whistle Blower (1986) by Leena L — 07 Jul 2012
As usual, these deep and slow intellectual British Cold War Agent-thrillers are just so slow and require full attention and even then you loose some of it. Those eternal trench coats and gentlemen\s clubs, the traditional British versions.
Life has gotten too fast for these types of films, no car chase, no bad guys that look like a bad guys, no shooting and running and explosives. I feel cheated!!
