Review of The Dark Knight (2008) by Alejandro M — 19 Dec 2015
This is no mere comic book adaptation, it's a criminal thriller of epic proportions. This plot could have worked on any environment but it turned out to be a perfect fit for the Batman universe. The Dark Knight, a rightful hero with no supernatural abilities, an unpredictable mad villain like the Joker and a corrupt city like Gotham provides Nolan with the best pieces to create one of the best, if not the best, comic book movies.
