Review of The Dark Knight (2008) by Bill G — 19 Dec 2018
The Hanz zimmer soundtrack is amazing right from the beginning. The Clown masks are reminiscent of the ones work in ï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2The Killingï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2ï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2ï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2ï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2ï¿ 1/2 1/2ï¿ 1/2Â? by Stanley Kubrick.
Heath Ledgerï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)s Joker performance is incredible, the best villain of all time. Batman takes on all of the crime in Gotham by himself, he truly is the hero Gotham needs.
The Joker tells the story of him getting the scars on his face twice throughout the movie, but the story changes each time. Bruce Wayne is very suave and represents New York executives. Bruce loves Rachel, but he canï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)t date her because heï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)s too busy being a vigilante.
Harvey Dent starts out as a very just man, but his grim fate begins to corrupt him. Michael Caineï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)s performance of Alfred Pennyworth is very proper and poised.
Morgan Freemanï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)s character Lucius Fox is very sharp as well and assists Bruce with management and new technologies. The scene where Batman is chasing The Joker in the Tumblr is very exhilarating.
I also enjoyed when Batman interrogated the Joker at the police station. The joker seems really nuts in that scene. When Rachel dies in the fire, Harvey Dent couldnï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)t handle the heartbreak and he lost his mind.
The scene with The Joker exiting the Hospital really cracks me up. There was a scene with two boats at the end of the film, one filled with citizens and one filled with convicts and they had to decide which one was going to die.
This plot shows us how morbid the Joker is. Overall great movie. Nolanï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)s Best 10/10.
