This film is an absolute classic... A bit slow moving in places much like many films from the fifties this is never the less very watchable, and having just watched it in the cinema, I can say, far better on the big screen, but lets face it, what isn't? The film deals with the true story of the development of a new weapon by Dr.
Barnes Wallis, and is an adaptaion of the Paul Brickhills book Enemy Coast Ahead. Its a bit Tally-ho in places, but so what? This is a true story of a group of dedicated men who helped to bring about the cancellation of Hitlers European tour, there's nothing wrong with a bit of Tally-ho mein herr!!
