Review of The Dam Busters (1955) by Garson F — 22 Dec 2009
Actually, four dams were targets. Two were destroyed, one was damaged and the other escaped harm. In any event, this is a fine film done in a classically British understated way. The repertory theatre inspired acting is splendid.
A remake is underway by director Peter Jackson. It will be tough to beat the original.
