Review of The Curse of Frankenstein (1957) by Jessi T — 01 Oct 2011
Peter Cushing is a terribly charismatic Victor Frankenstein and carries the entire film magnificently. The quick push-in shot of the creature's reveal is one of the best reveals in horror cinema, I think.
More of what you would expect from Hammer horror--beautiful to look at and thoroughly entertaining.
