Review of The Curse of Frankenstein (1957) by David S — 19 Oct 2012
This version of the classic story focuses more on baron Victor Frankenstein as the evil character instead of the monster, who is evil to a lesser extent. In essence, Dr. Frankenstein serves the role of the real monster, doing whatever it takes to create his living creature from the bodies of corpses.
The acting was considerably good in this one. For the most part, though, it's just what you'd expect from a film of that time; no surprises.
