Review of The Counterfeiters (2007) by Steve G — 27 Mar 2010
Excellent film telling the story of the Nazi currency counterfeiting using Jews in concentration camps. Strong performances all around here from actors I've never heard of (the film is Austrian and dialog is in German).
Very interesting to see a different take on Nazi atrocities which focuses more on the relationship between the inmates than most films of this genre. My only complaint was the unnecessarily ambiguous ending, nonetheless this is definitely worth watching.
