A visually stunning and beautiful masterpiece with a brilliant score to match. The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, and Her Lover is considerably one of the most original and fantastic films that I have ever had the pleasure to see.
It's screenplays is truely brilliant that features Helen Mirren who is fabulous as one of the titular characters; The Wife. A truely underated film that deserve more appreciation. Already a favourite.
