Finally available on DVD, this film milestone is a must see for film buffs. The way Bertolucci breaks cinematic conventions with every shot as if to say "I am a non-conformist" mirrors the characters outside perspective fighting mercilously to fit in.
A truly amazing film. The lessons you take from it must be used sparingly and with intent.
