Review of The Conformist (1971) by Ashley S — 02 Mar 2008
I was a bit lost in the beginning, but after the introduction of Giulia it was easy to follow. A beautiful film from beginning to end. The colors are stunning. The framing is impeccable. The cinematography on a whole is fantastic.
Trintignant played Marcello very well, but at times I wished he would add more to his character. Great overall.
