Even though it deals with some hard-hitting issues, this is ultimately quite feel-good. It can't fail to be with lush shots of fields full of purple flowers. I've thought about reading the book in the past, but was put off by the epistolary format.
As this was such a good story, I might be tempted to give it another go in the future!
