Review of The Collector (1965) by Poe M — 09 Jan 2010
A captivating psychological thriller that cultivates itself as Freddy, a shy, lonely, man with poor social skills, begins to believe that he is in love with an art student named Miranda. He coherently abducts her, and holds her captive in hopes that she will fall in love with him.
Dialogue is minimal in many instances but the story is very strong and well-focused. The lead as Freddy does a great job in his role. Deinietly worth a watch if you want to see an excellent and interesting thriller.
