Worthwhile 2-character kidnapper & victim scenario. Terence Stamp is not your normal psycho (ha ha), he abducts Samantha Eggar in the hopes that she will fall in love with him after spending a month together.
A novel dating technique, to say the least. There are two sequences of tasty tension (favorite is the bath scene) but mostly examines the strange relationship that develops between the two. Interesting and unmistakable thematic influence on future Best Picture winner 'SIlence of the Lambs.
