Once you get past the thick Irish brogues this movie becomes so rewarding. I thought it was a coming-of-age story but it just gets demented about halfway through. Treads the fine line between eccentric and insane.
And Sinead O'fuckingConnor as the Virgin Mary?!?! A nice touch I must say. The child actor is the best I've ever seen! Find this film!
