Review of The Butcher Boy (1998) by Stefán Birgir S — 04 Jun 2010
Doesn't help the "redheads as short-fused maniacs" stereotype. I can't believe how well Eamonn Owens carried this, I actually forgave the somewhat shocking last bit of insanity from his character.
It was disgusting, to say the least, but Owens and Rea (mostly his narration, although his screen time is great too, obviously) make you feel sorry for the guy almost the entire time.
