Non è stato facile reperire questo film, ma le aspettative non sono state per niente deluse. Bella trasposizione cinematografica di una novella dello scrittore irlandese Patrick McCabe ( Breakfast on Pluto ) diretto dal sempre bravissimo Neil Jordan.
Molto bravo anche il ragazzino protagonista, oltre alla solita e garantita carrellata di attori irlandesi.
