Review of The Business of Being Born (2008) by Ted D — 29 Jan 2010
Informative for the first 45 minutes. It's message is never entirely clear, either. At first, it's against labor inducing drugs, then glorifying the act of natural birth, but ultimately, it just turns into a documentary of Ricki Lake and some of her close friends, one: the director of the film, Abby Epstein, and a guru of midwifery that seems to be present at every birth.
Not as informative as I thought it was going to be.
