Review of The Bride Wore Black (1968) by Wut S — 16 Nov 2007
Like everyone else, this Truffaut's seems like the prototype of Kill Bill, but less graphical and stylistically different. I prefer this over Kill Bill.
A mix between New Wave and Hollywood suspense--very accessible. Though the plot is grim, the film is rather easy to watch while maintaining a distinct style. Has a set of great actors.
