Review of The Brave Little Toaster (1987) by Alicia S — 01 Nov 2013
Hopelessly unrealistic, but cute and fun, The Brave Little Toaster is a minor children's classic with remarkably solid characters and sense of adventure and character interaction. Even though the songs are too hip and modern and they kinda ruined the soul of the movie (except for City of Light, which is a quite solid and catchy song), this film is nevertheless a great and emotional trip for the little ones and it is nice to see that someone else did their job in 80s children's animation despite Disney, not to mention the appalling similarities between Toaster and 'Toy Story' suggesting a total rip-off from the so-called 'original' company of Pixar.
