Review of The Boondock Saints (1999) by Misty Dawn S — 12 Mar 2017
The fact that there are 1500 PAGES of audience reviews should give you an idea as to what this film stirs up. You either love it or hate it but there is no doubt you will be entertained. Hilariously bad Irish accents from two beautiful and talented actors whose on-screen chemistry is undeniable.
Kitschy, violent, and fun. Don't over think it. Sit back and watch the extreme violence, uncomplicated mob/vigilante plot, and brilliance of Wilem Defoe. Tarantino copycat? Sure. But well done at that.
