What the fuck is this shit? After the civil war, some white guys in blackface take over the government. Instead of fixing up the economy and shit like an 1800s Obama would do, they act like monkeys at their jobs, and chase white chicks all over the countryside in their free time. This is where our "heroes" come in: the KKK. WTF? I guess after nearly 100 years you can kind of forget the evil message and enjoy the cross cuts.
What can you say except "The Birth of a Nation" gave birth to both "the language of cinema" and the modern Ku Klux Klan, oddly enough, those are two of the major things that define this nation!
