Review of The Birth of a Nation (1915) by Smith T — 18 Sep 2018
This is one of the first silent films that I have ever had the pleasure of watching, and let me tell you, it was far from disappointing. It was actually even better than I thought it would end up being. However, as I expected it to, the film did tend to drag on a little; but nonetheless, I wasn't bored for even one second of it's lengthy duration, I just got a little tired of staring at the TV for so long.
My grade for the film: an A- just for having the charm and appeal that most B&W Classics have.
